Synchronized Swimming

Panteres Grogues' Syncronized Swimming team, where girls and boys have joined forces since 18 months are ready to give you a spectacular demonstration on Saturday 17 September at 14:00h in the Sant Jordi swimming pool. Don't miss out on this wonderful choreography based on the Matrix Soundtrack which they presented during Pride Barcelona 2011!!

Windsurfing Introduction Course: Hands-on class at Barcelona's Port Olimpic with teachers from the Sailing Center. Followed by dinner at Pizzeria Pasatore nearby. If you like sailing, sports and fun at the same time, you can not miss this course. With the learned method you'll sail the waves, enjoying the charm of sailing alone. The primary objective of this course is to learn to master the table to enjoy sailing and surfing. The course will work to and learn the following contents: Windsurf introduction; an introductory class to learn the basic concepts: Identify the wind direction and intensity. Knowing the basic naming scheme: the parts of the sailing and windsurfing board. Knowing the position of the feet on the windsurf table. Understand the terms: hunt and drop, luff and arrive and apply them. Understand the terms windward and leeward. Relate the position of the sails with different wind directions. Knowing the tacks and run correctly. DURATION: 2 hours Includes: Class, teaching materials and school license RECOMMENDED CLOTHES: It is important to bring shoes for this class: escarpins or trainers. It's recommended to bring neoprene swimwear Sunscreen. We recommend wearing a full moult. Shower necessities. MEETING POINT: At EXACTLY 16:00h we'll meet at the Centre Municipal de Vela CMV located at Moll de Gregal, inside Barcelona's Port Olímpic. We'll meet up at the entrance of the Center (next to the wooden bench). For those of you who come from outside Barcelona you can reach the center by car by the Ronda Litoral and find a parking space at Villa Olímpica. If you come by Metro you should take Line 4 (yellow line) and get off at Villa Olímpica-Ciutadella. In case of rain: In case of rain or sun we'll meet at the meeting point in time because the activity will NOT be cancelled. However, if the organisation decides to cancel the event due to metereological circumstances, they reserve the right to reprogram the event on another day.

Tai chi

If you have no idea what tai chi is and would like to enjoy a session for beginners, then come and join us on Saturday 17 September between 9:30 and 11h and give it a try. The initiation will take place in a park near the Mar Bella sports center.

Yoga

Hatha Yoga Session

When: Saturday 17th September from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm (arrival at 11:15 am)
Content: Intense interiorization guided by conscious breathing. A relaxed practice that will conclude with a short meditation.
Level: all practice levels welcomed
What to bring: confortable clothing and a towel (mats are available)

Wrestling

Description: wrestling training session, beginning with stretching and warm-up exercises, followed by practicing several wrestling techniques. Although there not will be competitive bouts, at the end of the session bouts between the participants will take place in order to practice the different techniques learned.
Level: not any specific level required. The session will be adapted to the participants.
Material: shorts and T-shirt or singlet

Guided tour to the Sagrada Família

Description: A guided tour to an icon of Barcelona to learn some geometry from a great underconstruction building. Probably the most famous Antoni Gaudí's building and for sure, the most visited place in Barcelona.
Groups: The visit will be done in 2 separate groups, one will be in English and another in Catalan or Spanish. The language will depend on participats registered for this tour. Each group will be composed by a maximum of 20 people.
When: Friday 16 September. First group at 11:00 - second group at 12:00. Once the guided tour will be finished, 1 hour, participants will have the possibility to remain inside the building till they closes the church for visitors, at 19:00.
