 The female basketball team of Panteres Grogues was started creating in June, 2004. In that epoch only there was a girl integrated to the masculine section and was playing with them in a mixed league. But after two years of living together and good moments with the boys there came the moment to look at another side and to look for new expectations and new challenges, for what she decided to try luck, convinced that there were many girls with desire of playing to básquet in a distended and cozy environment.
The first competition, still with the project newborn child, was the Panteresport of 2004, we form two teams with the girls of PG and some girls of Barcelona and even with a girl of London who encouraged to come. Finally the team of "La Figuera" I point at the tilt as guest. So we manage to do triangular enterteining enough and competitivly. Three teams had opportunity to take the first one to him since finally it was for one of the sets of PG.
In May, 2005 there came the second great event of the history of the section. The team of PG took part in the international Tilt of básquet of Paris, in that there were 6 teams in whole. Ending in the meritorious one 4 ª square since for different motives only 5 members of the team could travel, which was enough extenuante during the tilt. This way it was the beginning of the relations with the rest of lesbian teams of Europe.
In the Panteresport of 2005 also we form two teams of PG and there joined again " The Figuera " and an team of Madrid. After a few really interesting games and intense PG one returned to take the victory.
During year 2006 we participated in a amateur league organized by the Catalan Federation of Basketball. After making an effort to us more during months, competing with 4 teams. Finally we were left in 4ª position, due to the lack of experience of competition of the equipment. We hoped to surpass itself in the following league that will begin during the month of October.
In May of 2006 we returned to participate in the international Match of basketball of Paris, this time we were only 4 equipment altogether, with a representation of only 5 panthers to play one to animate, played with many desire, illusion and anger. Finally we obtained 3ª position. We hoped to be able to participate in more international competitions during year 2007 since it is a very enriching experience and with which we learn much, besides to pass it brilliant.
Finally in September of 2006 we could participate in 3ª edition of the Panteresport. This time they scored; the equipment Amsterdam Tigers, the Figuera, a Combined equipment with girls of the London Cruisers, girls of Valencia and Grogues Panthers, finally I participate the rest of the equipment of Grogues Panthers. Really 4 equipment that played one little league, semi-finals and end. After a very even match where all the equipment lost some party. In the end they faced the Combined equipment with the Amsterdam Tigers winning this last one. This time the equipment of Grogues Panthers did not have too much luck, although I fight with claw and valentía. The equipment of the Figuera obtained to the third position thanks to its intensity and certainty.
